The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets (Updated And Expanded)

While most people know me through my first book Crash Proof, and its update Crash Proof 2.0, many may not be familiar with my other investing book, 2008's The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets. If you haven't had a chance to read that book, you may want to take the opportunity now that I have updated it for 2010. The new version, The Little Book of Bull Moves: Updated and Expanded, has many pages of new material and provides key updates on the critical market developments of the past 18 months.

If you have already read the original version, there probably isn't much need to buy the update. But for those who never read the old version, the new edition should provide both an incentive to buy and a better reading experience. The book just hit stores this month and is available to order online.

To supplement the economic analysis that I presented in Crash Proof, The Little Book takes a look at the bear markets that followed the busts of the 1920s, 1960s, and 1990s. I devote much ink to analyzing the political and economic similarities and differences between those periods -- and comparing them to today's circumstances. Of course, as an investment book, I also discuss investment strategies that worked then and explain how those same approaches could be applied to today's market.

The Little Book aims to show readers how to position their investments under adverse market conditions by using non-traditional strategies.

If you missed the first release, the wait may have been worth it.
