While most people know me through my first book Crash Proof, and its update Crash Proof 2.0, many may not be familiar with my other investing book, 2008's The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets. If you haven't had a chance to read that book, you may want to take the opportunity now that I have updated it for 2010. The new version, The Little Book of Bull Moves: Updated and Expanded, has many pages of new material and provides key updates on the critical market developments of the past 18 months.
If you have already read the original version, there probably isn't much need to buy the update. But for those who never read the old version, the new edition should provide both an incentive to buy and a better reading experience. I devote much ink to analyzing the political and economic similarities and differences between those periods -- and comparing them to today's circumstances. Of course, as an investment book, I also discuss investment strategies that worked then and explain how those same approaches could be applied to today's market.
